HOW WE MEET

Nick and Rose met at work in 2012 and were immediately intrigued by each other. Rose, hidding a secret crush on Nick, didn't think he noticed her feelings. One day, despite Rose not being a fan of races, Nick invited her along. At the track, he introduced her to his friends simply as 'a girl from work', which made Rose doubt their potential.

A few weeks later, while hanging out, Nick kissed Rose goodbye. Overwhelmed, Rose ran off, unsure how to react. Later, she called Nick to apologize, explaining her emotional reaction. Thankfully, it didn't hinder their relationship.

Fast forward 12 years into their relationship, Nick surprised Rose with a hike to Laurel Falls in the Smoky Mountains. The trail was steep and challenging, but after an hour of trekking, they reached the summit. Initially crowded with other hikers, the area soon cleared out, leaving Nick and Rose to savor the stunning view and capture memorable photos.

As Rose was immersed in taking pictures and admiring the scenery, Nick invited her to pose for a quick snapshot in front of the falls before more hikers arrived. Then, in a heartwarming moment, Nick dropped to one knee and proposed to Rose. Overcome with happiness and tears streaming down her face, Rose was speechless but managed to say a joyful "YES!"

The ceremony will be held on October 17th - 6pm at Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains National Park at the Lequire Cemetery. Please note that parking tags are required for all vehicles parking for longer than 15 minutes. Tags can be purchased at the visitor center leading into the Park.
